My 1st Quad Ride

So I finally said yes and gave in to Steve's invitation to ride one of the quads. Cathy, he and I went out for a few hours. It was so much fun. A little scary but in a good way. Thankfully I had learned how to drive a manual car last year for my Europe trip so I understood Steve's explanation of driving the quad. So just like my learning to drive the manual car I had my frustrated moments of stalling out on the quad. Cathy told me that I did well though and that she stalled more her first time. I have to thank Steve for firmly telling me that I had to get out of 1st gear and I was able to catch up to my little sister and have some real fun. A great evening although I wouldn't necessarily recommend night riding for someone's first time :) And after ending up in a bush the quad and I are fine. Thanks Steve & Cathy!!!
